Services at the rajiv gandhi international airport

facility provided by the Hyderabad International Airport. These
buses run at 30 minutes interval to/from several points in the city
and the airport between 03:30 hours and 23:30 hours, and at a 1 hour

The 11.6 km PV Narasimha Rao Expressway, constructed at an elevated level from Mehdipatnam to Rajendranagar along with an underpass and trumpet interchange for providing dedicated high speed travel to the airport, is the longest flyover in India. There are three wide roads leading to the new airport from the city and modern taxis and buses can shuttle passengers between the city and the airport. The Nehru Outer Ring Road serves as a expressway between Gachibowli and Shamshabad.
The South Central Railway operates various trains between different stations providing a well-developed and interconnected railway route and is considered a crucial zone connecting trains originating from East, West and North of India destined to Southern India. The South Central Railway zone, which has its head-quarters at Secunderabad, covers majority of Andhra Pradesh state leaving aside North Coastal Andhra region which falls under Waltair Division of East Coast Railway. SCR also covers some lines ranging from tiny to moderate in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Tamilnadu.
The Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station, popularly known as Nampally Railway Station, is located at Nampally, a locality in Hyderabad. It falls under the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway while Kacheguda comes under Hyderabad Division of SCR. The station serves the city of Hyderabad by rail to and from many important towns and cities in the country. Most of the express trains to different cities originate from this station.

Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station (Nampally Railway Station) is a major railhead of the South Central Railways. Thiruvananthapuram-Hyderabad Express, East Coast Express, Krishna Express, Hyderabad Express and Godavari Express pass through the station. The main station towards south-west is at Mahbubnagar, 103 km from Hyderabad. Traveling north, the nearest railhead is Secunderabad Junction Railway Station.

Secunderabad Junction, is a major intercity rail
station and a commuter rail hub in the Hyderabad Urban Area. It is
located in the city of Secunderabad and falls under the South
Central Railway zone of Indian Railways. Built in 1874, by the Nizam
of Hyderabad State, during the British era, this station was the
main station of the Nizam's Railway, until the opening of Kachiguda
Railway Station in 1916. Later on, its operation was taken over by
the Indian Railways in 1951, when the Nizam's Railway was
nationalized. The main portico and concourse are influenced by Asaf
Jahi style architecture. The station building resembles a fort and
is one of the tourist attractions in the twin cities of Hyderabad
Secunderabad station is well connected by rail to all parts of India. Over 190 trains arrive at, or depart from, the station, daily, transporting over one hundred thousand passengers to their destinations across the country. Situated on the Vijayawada – Wadi (main line of SCR) and Nanded–Guntakal railway lines, it is the zonal headquarter station of the South Central Railway (SCR), and also the divisional headquarter station of Secunderabad Division of the SCR. The station has also achieved the ISO-9001 Certification for quality management in ticket booking, parcel and luggage booking and train management of platform. In recent years, the railways has proposed to upgrade it into a world-class station, with emphasis on vertical expansion of the complex. It is connected to almost all the parts of the twin cities (Hyderabad and Secunderabad) by the Hyderabad MMTS and Hyderabad Road Transport's buses, making it convenient for passengers to commute to and from the station.
Kachiguda Station Constructed in 1916, by the Nizam of the erstwhile Hyderabad State, this Station was the Headquarters of the then Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway. Endowed with central and side domes and accompanying minarets, this station has aspects of Gothic style architecture. The station handles trains originating for Bangalore, Aurangabad, Tirupati, Chennai, Delhi, Nanded, Coimbatore, and more. Housing many modern passenger amenities, this station now serves as the Headquarter station of the Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway.
The Kachiguda Railway Station connects Hyderabad City with MMTS Rail Transit, and localities like Kachiguda, Barkatpura, Chaderghat, Narayanguda, Kothi and Abids are accessible from this station.

Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station OR MGBS earlier known as Imlibun (Imli Means Tamarind & Bun Means Forest). Imlibun is a bus station in the southern part of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It is unofficially known as the Imlibun bus station. This bus terminus is situated at Imlibun island on the Musi river and is owned by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC). It is accessible by two major and two minor road bridges, though only one is accessible. Many buses from other states like Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, arrive at this bus station daily.
Jubilee Bus Station Secunderabad is owned by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) catering to the needs of public transportion, at Hyderabad there is Imlibun Bus Stand and at Secunderabad Jubilee Bus Stand. One will get a public transportaion from here to entire Andhra Pradesh.
Auto Rickshaws in Hyderabad should be metered, though it can be difficult for non-locals and locals alike to find an autorickshaw driver who ever agrees to a metered fare. Hyderabad Traffic police is very helpful and will help engage an Auto with metered fare. Autos can carry a maximum of 3 passengers excluding the driver, but it is common to find them being overloaded to carry up to six passengers. The minimum fare is Rs 15 which covers the first 1.6 km. Each additional km is another Rs 9. There are also shared 8 seater Maxi Vans available to and fro from the suburbs to a main location of the city in that direction. Fares are mostly 2 rupees more than bus fares, but are far more comfortable and fast for short distances upto 5 km. Fix the fare before you step into the autorickshaw.
